Description:
The aim of the project is to optimise the workflow in public authorities in Sumgait through using digital cadastral data and a Geographic Information System (GIS).
GCI develops GIS applications specific to the administration needs. The main project aim of GIZ is to achieve an improved communication between public authorities. This is realized through the use of a common cadastral dataset which implies agreements on how to use the data effectively.
After thorough examination the building authority and the municapility of Sumgait were selected for the implementation of GIS applications. For the building authority GCI is developing AzArchitect, a documentation software for applications. The tax authority will use the application AzFinance, an application for tax management..
